ICARS supports the development and implementation of cost-effective and context-specific solutions to mitigate antimicrobial resistance in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). This leadership position is a unique opportunity to join this mission.To find out more about partnerships in ICARS, visit the pages: Partner – ICARSAbout the Team Lead positionAs Team Lead you will oversee and together with your team members in the Partnerships, Communications and Governance Team (presently 5 positions) deliver on the activities as outlined in the overall workplan. You and your team will work closely with the Director of Operations, and with the other teams in ICARS to deliver on our strategies and commitments. The Director of Operations, who will be your line manager, will be directly overseeing the governance activities (work related to ICARS’ Board of Directors) of the team.Your main areas of responsibilities:

• People Leadership:
  • As line manager for in the team you will handle all HR matters in the team (with support from our HR-team): recruitment, Employee Development Dialogues, 1:1 conversation, support individual professional development, sick leave follow-up, supervising, time management registrations/approvals, vacation planning, onboarding new staff members etc.
  • Develop and refine staff resources to enhance the team's capabilities and efficiency.
  • Distribution of tasks among team members, considering individual strengths, current workload and well-being.
  • Ensuring that tasks are completed with quality and on time.
  • Approval of travel plans and costs and ensure that approval forms, safety regulations and other guidelines are followed.
  • Provide ongoing individual feedback to enhance job performance and team effectiveness.
• Planning and facilitating strategic collaboration with all categories of partners, nationally, regionally and globally e.g., conducting annual partner meetings and regional seminars, leading on side-events, bilateral dialogues with potential and current partners, planning for the Danish Inter-ministerial Coordination Committee, collaboration with the Quadripartite organisations etc.
