Welcome to the recording of "Two Decades of Empowering Communities: The Past, Present, and Future of Community Engagement on AMR," a global webinar hosted by ReAct on September 25th, 2025. This webinar marks a significant milestone - the launch of ReAct's comprehensive report reflecting on 20 years of community-driven solutions to antibiotic resistance across Latin America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

In this session, you'll hear from community representatives, funders, and policymakers as they discuss successful initiatives including Antibiotic Smart Communities, Alforja Educativa, Youth AMR Leadership, and the From People to Leaders: Act on AMR NOW! program. The panel explores critical questions about sustainable financing, scaling locally-owned but globally-supported models, and ensuring community voices are meaningfully integrated into national and global AMR governance structures as we work together to meet the targets of the declaration and build a more equitable response to antimicrobial resistance.
