The WHO Department for HIV, Tuberculosis, Hepatitis, and sexually transmitted infections (STIs), in collaboration with the AMR Department, is pleased to invite you to a webinar to launch the 2024 Data Report on the Enhanced Gonococcal Antimicrobial Surveillance Programme (EGASP). EGASP continues to strengthen national capacity for STI surveillance, epidemiology and gonococcal AMR monitoring and to build technical skills across clinical, epidemiological and laboratory domains. EGASP data are increasingly being used to inform updates to national STI treatment guidelines and to support reviews of national and global recommendations for gonorrhoea testing and treatment. Taking place during WAAW 2025, the launch serves as a call to action to preserve gonococcal surveillance achievements and to build resilience against future antimicrobial threats in STIs.
