AMR is a global threat that can have huge consequences to citizens, societies, and health care systems. In Europe, AMR causes around 35,000 yearly deaths, and AMR is considered a top 3 threat to human health by the EU. Furthermore, the current geopolitical situation with armed conflicts and humanitarian crises accelerates AMR, and resistant bacteria spread across borders.
This is the second day of the 2-day conference and addresses the policy side of the impact on hospitals and patients and focus on solutions to curb AMR: from prevention to stewardship and ensuring framework conditions for the antimicrobials of the future.
The first day of the conference is in Aarhus 19 November 2025. The second day is in Copenhagen 20 November 2025.
