CDC, FDA warn of possible salmonella risk from frozen sprouted beans

Abstract

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, along with public health officials in several states, are investigating a multistate Salmonella outbreak linked to recalled frozen sprouted beans. On July 16, Chetak LLC Group recalled Deep brand frozen sprouted moong (mung) beans and frozen sprouted moth (mat) beans.
