Abstract
As artificial intelligence (AI) use in health care evolves, its potential to support infectious disease prevention and management, from clinical care to outbreak detection and infection control, is attracting attention. However, AI adoption remains uneven, hindered by fragmented data, regulatory challenges, and low literacy and trust among professionals.
