Gut bacteria vastly outnumber human cells and influence everything from digestion to brain chemistry—but how they interact remains largely a mystery. Now, scientists at the University of Tokyo have deployed a specialized AI tool to uncover hidden links between these microbes and the chemicals they produce, shedding light on potential pathways for future treatments.
