Abstract
My mother's death will not be underreported. She passed away recently due to a drug-resistant infection caused by a recurrent UTI. When I received her death certificate, it listed Parkinson's as the official cause of death—despite no formal diagnosis. She had experienced a series of micro strokes that impacted her motor function, but the chronic UTI's and an untreatable infection was the true tipping point.
